Jasper F. Cropsey Artist and Architect

Nearly sixty-five years ago the Society acquired its first landscape painting by Jasper F. Cropsey. Since then additional works by the distinguished Hudson River school painter have supplemented the Society's holdings. Mrs. John C. Newington and the Newington-Cropsey Foundation, with the Society, presented an exhibition that surveyed the creative accomplishment of the artist.
