Writer Beth Kephart began to work with paper in the aftermath of her father’s passing, when words made little sense. Today she designs and binds blank journals. Her colorful Gelli-cyanotype prints, marbled paper, hand-dyed Hanji paper, Bojagi art, origami pockets, and ephemera collages are used for both covers and interior signature wraps. Beth’s bookmarks are fashioned out of original prints. Her booklets showcase new art and ephemera. Together with her husband, the ceramicist and artist William Sulit, Beth created Bind Arts, which, in 2023, began to sell its wares at farmers markets and craft shows.
