Lorraine Sayer

Lorraine Sayer combined her love for travel with designing, and began Sea Lily Jewelry in 2001. Her first markets were Carlisle Jewelry in New York and Tommy Bahama’s women’s jewelry line, as well as the Smithsonian Catalogs, among others. She has grown to design in industrial metals and piano wire, as well as mother of pearl. Her collection can be found in many museum gift shops across the country as well as symphonies, galleries and boutiques. All of the goods are handmade, and the dyes used in the mother of pearl collection are all natural. Today Lorraine is as excited about her work as she was when she began her fair trade company.

Lorraine Sayer's Piano Wire Collection utilizes piano wire mixed with semi-precious stones or fresh-water pearls. A nod to New York’s musical heritage, this clever, stylish, and festive jewelry is made using multiple rings and strings of piano wire. Her pieces are sure to put a song in the heart of everyone who sees her pieces being worn. The wire is made from tempered high-carbon steel, silver-plated hook closures, and surgical steel ear wires.
