Anna's Hummingbird Kitchen Towel
Our delightful Anna’s Hummingbird flour sack kitchen towel has been adapted from the original John James Audubon (1785-1851) watercolor in the collection of the New-York Historical Society. Flour sack towels are known for their absorbency and softness – perfect for drying dishes. Originally they were salvaged fabric from old flour or grain sacks. After the flour was used, the cotton sack was bleached, washed and trimmed. Over time it became the flour sack towel we know and love today.
