Description
This limited edition giclée print by artist Bryan Collier beautifully reproduces the original watercolor and collage work titled Blessings Are Free.   Printed on archival paper using a high-quality inkjet printer, each print is signed by the artist, one of a limited edition of 300, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. This strong and affirming image beautifully illustrates the stirring words of author Doreen Rappaport in the children's book Martin's Big Words,  and is a lyrical, heart-lifting love letter to Black and brown children everywhere: reminding them how much they matter, that they have always mattered, and that they always will.
Bryan Collier is a beloved illustrator known for his unique style combining watercolor and detailed collage. He is a four-time Caldecott Honor recipient and a six-time Coretta Scott King Illustrator Award recipient. Collier pursued a career in children's illustration after an experience in a bookstore: the books he saw did not look or feel or sound like him or his children. He decided to change that.
