Ms. Perry (American, b. 1964) is a freelance artist and theater director based in New York City who began exploring watercolors when New York City closed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Her designs exclusive to the NYHistory Store present the Black Lives Matter protests that exploded in New York City, throughout the country, and the world, following the police killings of George Floyd and other black Americans.
