Jeep Willys Classic 1:32 Diecast Model
Born in the heat of battle, the go-anywhere jeep emerged a hero to thousands of Allied soldiers around the world. Equally heroic models faithfully served U.S. soldiers during the Vietnam War and to present day.
The Jeep Willy was manufactured from 1941 to 1945. This small, four-wheel drive utility vehicle was considered the iconic World War II Jeep, and it inspired many similar light utility vehicles after the war.
This authentically detailed replica is 1:32 scale and is made of die-cast metal.
Over 640,000 Jeeps were built for World War II, and they inspired many vehicles similar in layout, or function. The M38A1 Jeep was used in the Korean War. It was followed during the Vietnam War by the M151, which was designed with Ford. (It is the M151 that is making a special appearance at the New-York Historical Society on the occasion of our exhibition, The Vietnam War 1945-1975, on view from October 4, 2017 to April 22, 2018).
