Inspired by the artist Mondrian, this geometric style handmade scarf is a unique work of wearable art that drapes beautifully on the body. Crafted using the nuno felting process in a fair-trade women’s collective in Nepal.
The nuno-felting process involves layering of different sections of fibers to create a unique design. Small amounts of merino wool are carefully placed on recycled silk, chiffon, or cotton. The materials are heated, soaped, and scrubbed causing the wool fibers to migrate through the weave of the cloth and bond together.
No two scarves are identical.
