With the traditional colors of the National Woman's Party, proudly display our sash that signifies a movement for women's suffrage.
Founded by Alice Paul, the National Woman's Party is an American women's political organization formed in 1916 to fight for women's suffrage. During marches and events women wore sashes and carried banners with the purple, white and gold stripe pattern. In 1920, the 19th amendment was ratified, granting women the right to vote.
