Akosua Karikari, the creator of KariAndGo, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner by profession. Her love for her Ghanaian heritage and culture is the inspiration for KariAndGo. During the pandemic Akosua says “KariAndGo was my outlet and safe place outside of the hospital”. Akosua prides herself with all her products being handmade in Ghana. She employs local artisans, photographers, seamstress, tailors and craftsman. Akosua says “ I want to spread my beautiful Ghanaian traditions and culture to the world”.
