Our Votes for Women Pennant is now an adorable felt magnet! The reproduction of the original felt campaign pennant (1910-1920) for the Woman Suffrage Party in the collection of the New-York Historical Society now appears on a felt fronted magnet.
The Woman Suffrage Party was a political union of existing small suffrage societies whose aim was to secure the submission of a woman suffrage amendment to the New York State Constitution and its adoption at the polls. New York women gained suffrage in 1917, and American women won full voting rights in 1920, with the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment.
