Cristina Pires-Ferreira, a former crafts editor at Woman’s Day magazine, and Liz Rand, founder of Elizabeth Rand Inc., a designer and manufacturer of fine jewelry, have combined their creative talents to form AtelierCriz. Cristina brings years of experience creating and designing projects, sourcing materials, and developing a keen eye for color, texture, and detail. Liz has spent more than 25 years designing, carving, producing, and marketing her jewelry through high-end retailers across the country. Together, they are a dynamic partnership with ideas galore.
AtelierCriz features two distinct collections: a whimsical group of fabric art animals and a sophisticated collection of accent pillows. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted by the two of us using repurposed materials—giving new life to beautiful textiles while celebrating craftsmanship, creativity, and sustainability.
All their creations are unique and are made in Manhattan, where they both live and work.
