On Nov 2, 2024, the NYHistory Store held it's annual popular Designing Women Market, a day-long, award-winning, marketplace to showcase exceptional products by women makers, designers, and entrepreneurs. Attendees were able to meet, chat, and shop for unique gifts with the women who make them. Designing Women Market began Spring 2017 as an inspiration to celebrate the newly established Center for Women’s History at the New-York Historical Society.
The NYHistory Store believes that the interaction between history lovers who support our business and the women producers living out their stories of creativity and commerce is a positive demonstration that we each make history matter every day.
