The New-York Historical Society and the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum co-sponsored Baroness Hyde de Neuville: Sketches of America, 1807-1822. The Baroness was a prolific recorder of life in early nineteenth century New York. After four years of travel in the Northeast, the Hyde de Neuvilles chose to settle in New Brunswick, New Jersey, then the home of Queen's College, which has now become Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
