Bram Stoker (1847–1912) was an Irish author best known for writing the classic Gothic horror novel Dracula (1897). Born in Dublin, Ireland, he studied mathematics at Trinity College before pursuing a career in writing and theater management. For many years, he served as the business manager for the famous actor Henry Irving at London’s Lyceum Theatre.
