A perfect place for the kids to read a story…or to take a time out.  This wooden Keith Haring chair will brighten up any children’s room.  Keith Haring (1958-1990) was an artist popular with all ages, beloved by the public and respected by the art establishment.  His instantly recognizable style is a part of New York City's late 20th Century identity.  Haring died of complications from AIDS.

Stonewall 50 at New-York Historical Society features two exhibitions, Letting Loose and Fighting Back: LGBTQ Nightlife Before and AfterBy the Force of Our Presence: Highlights from the Lesbian Herstory Archives, and a special installation, Say It Loud, Out and Proud: Fifty Years of Pride.
