Our exclusive scarf has been adapted from a luminous detail of the "Daffodil" lampshade made by Tiffany Studios (ca.1910–1913), designed by Louis C. Tiffany (1848–1933). The elegant scarf features the distinct patterns from the lamp's cone-shaped shade depicting a stunning blue stain glass background with daffodils.
Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) is celebrated today as one of the most influential designers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Information revealed in recently discovered letters suggests that Tiffany designer Clara Driscoll (1861-1944), actually designed most of Tiffany's leaded glass lamps, many of his objets d'art, and supervised the execution of many of his most celebrated leaded windows and mosaics. Her passion for the natural world and refined design sense is unmistakable in the popular daffodil design featured on this scarf.
