Our exclusive umbrella has been adapted from a luminous detail of the "Drophead Dragonfly", a leaded glass and bronze lampshade made by Tiffany Studios (ca. 1900-1906), designed by Clara Driscoll, (1861-1944). The vibrant umbrella features the distinct patterns from the lamp's cone-shaped shade depicting a stunning blue raindrop background with a dragonfly border.
With shimmering veils of leaded glass lamps and windows, Louis C. Tiffany (1848-1933) and his designers created a revolutionary design aesthetic that brought the beauty of the natural world into the home. The iconic dragonfly lamps created by Tiffany Studios were designed by Clara Driscoll, manager of the women who selected and cut glass at Tiffany Studios.
