Our exclusive Tiffany Peacock Zip Pouch is adapted from a Favrile Peacock Vase (circa 1900 -1906) in the New-York Historical collection. A leader of the Art Nouveau movement, Louis C. Tiffany and his designers used his invention of favrile glass to create mouth-blown vases infused with iridescent color. Serving as inspiration for this pouch, the elegant vase in the museum’s collection rewards closer inspection with rich shades of turquoise and dark teal touched with lustrous green.
