Our vase is adapted from the stunning red Poppy Shade in the Museum's collection. This vibrant vase features the shade's distinctive pattern of poppy blooms over a radiant gold background. With his shimmering veils of leaded glass lamps and windows, Louis C. Tiffany (American, 1848-1933) and his designers created a revolutionary design aesthetic that brought the beauty of the natural world into the home. Many of the iconic lamps created by Tiffany Studios were designed by Clara Driscoll (American, 1861-1944), manager of the women who selected and cut glass at Tiffany Studios.
