Madison Square Garden NYC Notecard

$ 6.50 $ 6.95

Delight everyone on your greeting card list with this note card featuring the original Madison Square Garden that was located at East 23rd and Madison Ave. This illustration is inspired by a black-and-white photograph from New-York Historical's archives reimagined in this colorful creation by Instagram illustrator @nyccurated. Take home a piece of this collaboration and remember that New York history never goes out of style.

The first Madison Square Garden was created in 1874 by renowned showman P.T Barnum. It was here, in the rooftop theatre in 1906, where Harry Kendall Thaw fatally shot architect Stanford White. The undated photograph by Frank M. Ingalls is circa 1901-1910.
