A love letter to New York for the mahjong table. Our New York Icons Mahjong Collector's Edition set arrives in a pearlescent periwinkle case with "New York" written across the lid in silver script and a hand-painted yellow checker cab parked beside it. Open it up, and the city keeps going: every tile back carries its own little taxi, the jokers wear a big red Apple, and the flower and bam tiles swap the usual motifs for a tulip bouquet and a city pigeon.
It's the kind of set that stays out on the coffee table between games, and the kind of gift that gets remembered: for the friend who hosts the weekly game, the New Yorker who moved away, or the eighth night of Hanukkah when you want to go big.
