The enchanting paper dolls gracing our delightful tea towel are a time capsule of a mid-nineteenth century domestic world in which women filled their days with vital household tasks. The paper dolls featured are an assortment from the eighty-five paper dolls in the museum’s Elie and Viola Nadelman collection, ca. 1855. These charming vignettes are just one example of the many treasures housed in the museum that provide a tantalizing glimpse into the lives of women in history.
