The ‘You Are On Native Land’ black and gold enamel pin is intended to ignite conversation amongst Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. ‘YAONL’ comes from an Indigenous perspective and the phrase is intended for everyone including the wearer. Made by Indigenous-owned Urban Native Era, the 'You Are On Native Land' line is meant to be worn by all, natives and non-natives alike, as a sign of solidarity. Urban Native Era was founded by Joey Montoya (Lipan Apache) in 2012, and the company's goal is to bring Indigenous visibility through fashion and design.
